Studied at School of Foreign Languages & Literature, Law School of Wuhan University (P. R. China), Faculty of Language and Literature of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine), Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia).

Now engages in teaching and research at Wuhan University China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies.

Worked in the State Education Commission (now the Ministry of Education of the PRC), the Chinese Embassy in Russia.
