Dear Colleagues, The Moscow Journal of International Law (MJIL) invites submission of papers for a Special Issue of the MJIL focused on the analysis of international environmental law. The Special Issue of the MJIL is linked to a number of authoritative sources of the modern international environmental law. The aim of the issue is to explore the on-going development of this branch of international law (which is of vital significance for both developed and developing states). As a priority, the issue is focused on the analysis of such topics of international environmental law as legal aspects of global warming and the rise of the sea level, ice – melting in the Antarctic and the Arctic, unexpected law temperatures in some areas of the Earth, earthquakes, etc. The Editorial Board of the MJIL specifically welcomes submission of papers on the current legal issues of protection of the environment and conservation of biodiversity, management of natural resources, regulation of economic activities according to the principle of sustainable development .
